Event Details
Join Abs and Alex of the History Tellers as they take off with some epic storytelling this week about the amazing stories, incredible tales, and unbelievable achievements of people and events in the Fleet Air Arm history.
In "Pilots and Pioneers" they look at the daring days of first flights, from early experiments to the fearless supersonic 'jet jockeys' of the 50s and beyond.
In 'Frightful Flights' they look at the most terrifying jobs in aviation history, from planes that melt their pilots to shooting a Hollywood film five miles up! It's a fast-paced show of fun-filled flying facts.
Then there's the Halloween themed "Horror Aircraft". Everything from the sinister named Vampire jet, to planes that spookily flew themselves for miles with no-one at the controls. There's even some real unexplained spine-tingling tales
