  • Accessible fun with wheelchair friendly equipment.
  • Watch the children, bring a picnic or visit the Museum Cafe.

Inspired by HMS Queen Elizabeth

The new aircraft carrier is one of the biggest ships ever built for the Royal Navy. As one of the most advanced warships in the world, the new vessel will form part of the surface fleet including large assault ships and small patrol boats.

As well as being the largest aircraft carrier weighing in at 60,000 tonnes, the warship is capable of carrying forty aircraft including upto thirty-six F-35s and four helicopters.

The new playground will offer adventurers a replica jet to play on alongside slides, climbing frames and swings. Why not experience the new play area for yourself? Access to the exterior site is free for all visitors.
