Once you have booked your visit we will liaise with you to plan a programme that will fit your requirements and timings, wherever possible. We encourage all teachers and group organisers to take advantage of the free preliminary visit to help you plan your programme.
Sessions listed in this brochure include technology workshops and talks/demonstrations. The list is not exhaustive; if you have different ideas for a session do please suggest them to us.
Technology workshops can take up to 30 pupils per session. If you wish to bring a larger group we will programme several sessions that run concurrently.
Investigating the museum halls
A gallery investigation using a worksheet or led by a museum explainer (if available) can support the learning achieved in the activity workshops. Please let us know if you would like us to send a worksheet for you to photocopy prior to your visit or if you would like an explainer to be available whilst you are exploring the museum.
Once your programme has been agreed we will send you a copy for you to distribute to the adults attending the visit.
