Special Occasions, Functions and Events

Finding a memorable venue for your special occasion, conference or event can be a real headache. So here's an idea which is original, hassle free and guaranteed to be remembered!

Why not hold your event among Europe's largest collection of Naval aircraft or even under Concorde?

The Fleet Air Arm Museum at RNAS Yeovilton in Somerset has four exhibition halls and four conference rooms available for groups of any size up to 400 people. Private catering can be arranged to suit your budget, alternatively the Museum has a licensed restaurant open to the public.

There is excellent disabled access, ample free parking and a shop which is stocked with a ride range of aviation-related gifts, clothing and confectionery.

After your event or during break-out sessions, you can take full advantage of the Museum. You can go on board Concorde or be 'transported' by a simulated helicopter flight to the replica flight deck of the aircraft carrier 'HMS Ark Royal'. A combination of two enormous projection screens coupled with ten real aircraft put you in the heart of the action as powerful jet fighters take off and land around you. You'll experience the thrills and sounds of a working flight deck, and even see a nuclear bomb, all of which makes this a truly unforgetable venue.

The Museum is situated alongside Europe's largest military Air Station where, depending upon operational demands, you are likely to see Sea King, Lynx and Merlin helicopters and other Naval aircraft going through their rigorous training procedures.

The Museum's Conference rooms:
