26/06/1949 - to RAE Farnborough for further trials
29/09/1949 - forced landing due to sheared fuel pump drive
04/10/1949 - to Hawkers for repair and incorporation of variable incidence tailplane
03/1950 - repairs completed
24/05/1950 - handed over to CS(A) at Farnborough
17/07/1950 - damaged in crash landing after engine failure on approach 09/1951 - repairs completed
30/10/1951 - arrived at RAE from Dunsfold for Arresting trials; emergency landing due to partial undercarriage retraction failure
03/1952 - fitted with bullet fairing to increase high Mach number characteristics; fitted with Seahawk undercarriage
05/05/1952 - arrived at RAE for deck trials on HMS Eagle
27/05 & 28/05/1952 - carried out deck landing trials on HMS Eagle
29/05/1952 - arrived at Dunsfold for reversion to standard
06/1952 - fitted with variable incidence swept tailplane
27/05/1953 - RAE for high-speed research
09/1953 - again made a forced landing; repaired and transferred to Air Ministry charge, allocated 7174M as a Ground Instructional Airframe 14/01/1955 - allocated to 1 SoTT at RAF Halton
08/02/1955 - despatched to RAF Halton
20/06/1961 - to 2 Recruit Centre at RAF Cardington
09/06/1964 - to RAF Colerne Museum
08/09/1975 - to RAF St Athan Museum
01/1977 - to RAF Cosford Museum
03/05/1990 - loaned by RAFM to FAAM and arrived for storage at RNAS Lee on Solent
15/02/1995 - moved by road to FAAM store at Wroughton
24/11/1999 - back to Yeovilton by road
