1952 - transferred from US Navy to NAS Quonset Point for major overhaul; to NAS Norfolk for preservation then for shipment to UK
01/1953 - loaded onto HMS Perseus for journey to UK
20/02/1953 - arrived at RNAS Abbotsinch and on completion of Receipt and Dispatch Unit procedure was to go to RNAS Culdrose. Move cancelled 12/1953 - engine removed and aircraft stored
08/1955 - RNAY Donibristle (arrived on 13/08) for rectification and storage
13/03/1958 - RNAS Culdrose
10/1958 - joined 849 NAS C Flight as 427/C
10/1959 - left for Naval Air Radio Installation Unit, RNAS Lee on Solent for installation of VHF units, returned to RNAS Culdrose, to 849 NAS HQ Flight coded 416
23/09/1960 - returned to Aircraft Holding Unit, RNAS Culdrose and placed in long term storage
1964 - prepared for scrapping, but retained for display by Naval Aircraft Support Unit, RNAS Culdrose
1976 - noted with Cornwall Aero Park at Helston, Cornwall
21/03/1997 - moved to the care of 849 NAS Association at RNAS Culdrose, to be refurbished for the Air Stations 50th anniversary celebrations
06/12/2000 - airlifted under Chinook HC2 (ZA671) from RNAS Culdrose to RNAS Yeovilton. Stored outside Cobham Hall.
