Easter Family Activities
If you are wondering where to take your family this Easter for an interesting day out, the Museum could be your answer.
In addition to seeing Europe's largest collection of naval aircraft and Britain's first Concorde, visitors will have the opportunity of enjoying a variety of family activities.
From Sat 23rd March there will be family trails which could earn you a chocolate surprise if completed correctly! (Museum closed 25th & 26th March)
Tue 2nd April - Fri 5th April
12.00noon in the Learning Centre - Aircrew Artefacts - a fun talk on 'What Pilots have worn over the last 100 years and Why'
2.00pm - Concorde Hall
‘Parachute Drop’ – Design, build and test a parachute for an egg.
Make a parachute capable of lowering an egg from Concorde to the ground below without breaking the egg!
This activity is on a ‘First Come First Serve’ basis as places are limited.
Mon 8th - Tue 9th April
1.30pm-4.00pm - Airfix 'Make & Paint' Workshops in the Learning Centre
Wed 10th - Fri 12th April
Robot Wars Event
