A visit to the Museum can last a day but its memory can last a lifetime. Allow four hours to see the whole Museum. Why not spend two hours in the morning, enjoy a relaxing lunch in the Swordfish Restaurant followed by two hours in the afternoon.

Please note that the visibility of and access to the Museum's exhibits may be restricted on the Museum's special event days. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Security: The Museum does not have a left luggage repository therefore visitors are advised to leave their bulky belongings in their vehicles. Visitors may be subject to security searches.

Opening Hours
The Museum is open all year round but closed on Mondays and Tuesdays from Nov-March unless on Somerset School Holidays and half terms (closed Dec 24/25/26).
Disabled Facilities
Accessibility is important, 95% of the Museum is fully accessible by those in wheelchairs. The Museum can supply free wheelchairs if required.
Finding Us
We are located at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, on the B3151 just off the A303 and A37. It is accessible from the M5 motorway, junction 25 at Taunton.
Restaurant
The Museum's friendly team guarantee you a warm welcome to the Swordfish Restaurant. Drinks and snacks are available at all times with a varied menu.

The Museum’s collection covers a wide range of documents from official and private sources, related to the Royal Naval Air Service and the Fleet Air Arm.

With ample parking for coaches and cars, all within a few metres of the entrance to the Museum, the Fleet Air Arm Museum welcomes all group visits.
