The Fleet Air Arm Museum is Europe's and the Commonwealth's largest naval aviation Museum. We house over ninety rare and important aircraft, from the very first aircraft to have taken part in a naval battle (the Short 184 in the Battle of Jutland in 1916) to the first British built Concorde.
We house as many as two million records and some thirty thousand artefacts ranging from old photographs, uniforms and enlistment papers to ships' bells and weaponry.
Our funding from the MoD amounts to approximately 40% of our running costs. The remaining 60% has to be generated by the Museum through our own fund raising initiatives. Our restoration and maintenance programmes are therefore both demanding and financially challenging.
Please help us by making a donation to our Museum.
All donations will be gratefully received and very wisely used.
If you would like to discuss making a donation to the Museum, please contact Graham Mottram, Director, or send your donation to:

Legacies
The Museum has an ambitious development plan which includes such improvements as: improving our facilities for visitors with disabilities, digitising our archive of photographs and records and rebuilding rare aircraft...the list is long! However, our development plan is unlikely to be fully achieved unless outside funding can be obtained.
Please help us maintain and improve our Museum by including the Fleet Air Arm Museum in any charitable legacy you may be considering.
It may not be possible for you to stipulate the specific project to which your legacy should be allocated however we will endeavor to reflect your wishes and your legacy would be used wisely and would help the Museum represent our priceless naval heritage for generations to come.
